Gimli Enviro Club 

Gimli Enviro Club is a dynamic group of students, grades 9 to 12, who are dedicated to making their school, community and world better, more sustainable places for all living things.

Projects on the go:

• Fashion Show featuring exciting examples of remade, redesigned and recycled clothing and accessories (April 2011)   See Holly Linklater for details.
• Eat Lower on the Food Chain dinner and musical entertainment evening December 10, 2010 @ Gimli High School 6:00-9:00pm.  Tickets $10
• Hot Chocolate sale (watch for upcoming dates!) 
• Bird Feeders - great Christmas gifts (Grannies and Grandpas love them!) 
• Banning Single-use Water Bottles project for GHS and our communities
• Revamping of school recycling program
• Vermicomposting in partnership with RM of Gimli and EICD (watch for upcoming video)
• Yellow Fish Road storm drain labelling project ><> ><> ><> ><>
• Development of outdoor spaces - central square and cafeteria areas
• ENVIROTHON!  Provincials to be held in Gimli May 26-29, 2011
